AHC’s Summer 2024 Programs
We have a variety of programs in our Summer 2024 line up, including a full day drop off program, half day camps, classes, field trips, and clubs! Scroll down for details!
Summer 2024 Free To Program
Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
Time: 9:00 - 3:00
Dates: June 4 - August 1 (closed July 2-4)
Description: On Tuesday mornings, we’ll head to different parks for some organized games and free play time. Tuesday afternoons will be for open exploration at our space, or participants can join our Drama Camp (for a small additional fee). Wednesdays will be field trip days - a different adventure every week! On Thursday mornings we will write letters to pen pals (for younger kids, this can be dictating letters or drawing pictures). Thursday afternoons will be open exploration or participants can join our Entrepreneur Camp (for a small additional fee).
Options: Choose one, two, or three days per week. Families can also choose to sign up for the month of June or July or both!

Half Day Camps
Days: Drama Camp - Tuesdays; Entrepreneur Camp - Thursdays
Time: 12:30 - 3:00
Dates: June 4 - August 1 (closed July 2-4)
Description: Our Drama Camp will include improv games, short skits, and monologues. Participants will have the opportunity to perform their pieces in an end-of-summer showcase. Entrepreneur Camp provides a space for creative kids to design a business or build on one they’ve already started. Participants will learn about profit and loss, marketing, and other relevant parts of running a business. Our young entrepreneurs are invited to participate in a kids only Makers Market in early August.

Drum and Puppet Classes
We are so excited to have Mr. Blake Himm teaching two special classes with us this summer!
Intro to Puppetry will meet Wednesdays 3:30 - 4:30 and will cover the basics of puppetry! Learn about voicing, character development, movement, interactions, and improv with puppets.

World Drumming will meet on Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:00. We will explore a variety of drumming styles from around the world, including Samba, Taiko, Middle Eastern, and West African!
